September 9, 2026 — G.SKILL has introduced its Trident Z5 Royal NeoX series of DDR5 memory kits with support for AMD’s EXPO Technology: Featuring Ultra Low Latency (EXPO ULL).
The new series is offered with specifications ranging from DDR5-6000 CL36 to DDR5-6000 CL26, according to G.SKILL, the memory profiles use additional sub-timing adjustments intended to reduce latency on compatible AMD systems.
AMD EXPO ULL support
AMD EXPO ULL is a memory overclocking profile that adds additional memory sub-timing settings compared with standard AMD EXPO profiles.
According to G.SKILL, the Trident Z5 Royal NeoX uses tuned sub-timings in its EXPO ULL profiles to improve latency performance while maintaining the same memory speed.
The feature requires a compatible AMD processor, motherboard, and supported BIOS version. Users need to enable the appropriate EXPO ULL profile to take advantage of the configured memory timings.
DDR5-6000 configurations
The Trident Z5 Royal NeoX series covers memory configurations from DDR5-6000 CL36 through DDR5-6000 CL26, giving the lineup different latency specifications at the same rated memory speed.
The actual performance of a memory kit will depend on the processor, motherboard, BIOS configuration, memory settings, and workload. Reaching rated overclocked speeds also requires compatible hardware and appropriate BIOS settings.
Silver and gold finishes with RGB lighting
The Trident Z5 Royal NeoX uses a mirrored silver or gold finish and includes a crystalline light bar for RGB illumination.
The memory modules use the same Trident Z5 Royal styling while adding the newer AMD EXPO ULL memory profiles.
Availability
G.SKILL says the Trident Z5 Royal NeoX series will roll out worldwide in phases. The company has not provided pricing in the supplied announcement.
Availability will depend on regional distributors and retail partners.
