MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The vivo V80 Lite has received a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title after completing a continuous livestream lasting 32 hours and 37 minutes.
The livestream took place on August 11, 2026, in Chiang Mai, Thailand, under the title “The Longest Electronic Product Live Stream.” According to vivo, the V80 Lite remained operational throughout the challenge without interruption.

The record attempt was independently observed under GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS guidelines.
The 32-hour and 37-minute livestream served as an endurance test involving continuous broadcasting. The challenge continued through both day and night before the record attempt was completed.
Southeast Asian Creators Join the Challenge
Creators from four Southeast Asian markets participated in the livestream, taking turns using and showcasing the V80 Lite during the challenge.
Participants included Tang Makkaporn from Thailand, Aedy Ashraf from Malaysia, Vince Domingo of Philippine technology channel Unbox Diaries, and Vietnamese technology creator Tuấn Ngọc.
The creators also used the smartphone for activities around Chiang Mai, including navigation, photography, gaming, and calls.

The record comes ahead of the V80 Lite’s Philippine launch, where vivo says the smartphone will feature a 10,000mAh BlueVolt Battery.
vivo describes the battery capacity as the largest it has offered globally. The livestream itself was the specific endurance challenge used for the Guinness World Records title.
