MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The upcoming vivo V80 will feature Pet Pals, an interactive wallpaper theme in OriginOS 7 that adds virtual pets to the phone’s screen, allowing them to move and interact with users.
Unlike static wallpapers, Pet Pals is designed to add animations to everyday screen interactions, including unlocking the device and checking notifications.
More Personalization Options with OriginOS 7
Pet Pals is one of several personalization features available on the vivo V80 through OriginOS 7.
The phone will also include Wiggle, which adds motion-responsive effects to wallpapers; Glint, which introduces shimmering visual details; and StickIt, which lets users decorate the system interface with stickers.
These features offer users different ways to customize the appearance of their device, from animated backgrounds to decorative elements.
vivo Philippines is scheduled to showcase the vivo V80 and its features during a launch livestream on its official Facebook page on October 30, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
