MANILA, PHILIPPINES — OPPO has officially made the Reno16 Series 5G available in the Philippines, with the lineup consisting of the Reno16 F 5G, Reno16 5G, and Reno16 Pro 5G.
The three models come with different camera configurations and features, including AI-powered imaging tools, remote camera controls, dual-camera recording, and video stabilization.
Camera features across the Reno16 Series
The Reno16 Pro 5G is equipped with a 200MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera, alongside a 50MP Ultra Wide Camera and a 50MP Telephoto Portrait Camera.
The telephoto camera supports up to 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom, according to OPPO. The phone also has a 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera.
OPPO is also including several camera-related features across the Reno16 Series.
OPPO Bubble with Camera Remote View allows users to preview and control the phone’s camera remotely, which can be used for group photos without someone having to remain behind the camera.
The series also supports DualCam 2.0, which can record from different camera perspectives at the same time.
For video, StableCam’s 4K Auto Straighten Video is designed to stabilize footage and automatically straighten the frame while recording.
OPPO launches #FirstBarkadaGala campaign
Alongside the Reno16 Series launch, OPPO is running #FirstBarkadaGala, a travel campaign in partnership with the Department of Tourism.
The campaign encourages participants to share travel experiences around the Philippines. According to OPPO, participants can get a chance to win an all-expenses-paid barkada trip worth PHP 200,000, along with Reno16 loaner units for capturing the trip.
The campaign is separate from the phone’s technical features and focuses on travel-related content and activities.
#FandomBarkada promotion
OPPO is also running a separate #FandomBarkada campaign involving an AI Remix Collage featuring the Reno16 Series and BABYMONSTER.
Participants are asked to create and post their fan art on Facebook, TikTok, or X, include their favorite BABYMONSTER song and reason, tag OPPO Philippines, and submit their entry through the campaign’s Google Form.
For users looking to fine-tune their shots, Pro mode offers a range of manual controls, including exposure value (EV), ISO, Auto White Balance (AWB), shutter speed, and simulated bokeh. These tools give users the flexibility to adjust settings based on the scene, whether capturing fast-moving subjects, shooting in challenging lighting, or adding a more artistic touch to their images.
OPPO says 50 winners will receive OPPO x BABYMONSTER merchandise, with selected entries also featured on OPPO Philippines’ social media channels. Four grand winners will receive tickets to the BABYMONSTER Global Fan Meet Up in Jakarta.

The Reno16 F 5G is available in Pop White and Twilight Violet, with Dream Purple listed for offline availability starting September 11, 2026. The Reno16 5G comes in Pop White and Twilight Violet, while the Reno16 Pro 5G is available in Pop White.
Launch discounts and offers
OPPO is offering several launch promotions across its online and offline channels.
Through the OPPO Online Store, selected Reno16 models are eligible for discounts and bundled items until September 17. These include a PHP 3,000 discount, a free Enco Buds3 Pro, and limited-edition OPPO Reno16 Series x BABYMONSTER merchandise, subject to the stated conditions and availability.
Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop are also offering discounts and platform vouchers, along with selected bundled items.
At OPPO Concept Stores, customers can receive a PHP 3,000 discount on selected Reno16 Series configurations from August 21 to September 17, 2026.
MY OPPO App users can also receive an additional PHP 2,000 discount on selected Reno16 F 5G variants from August 18 to August 31, subject to the stated requirements.
Flexible payment options include up to 18 months at 0% interest through Home Credit and selected 0% installment terms through credit cards.
The Reno16 Series 5G is available through OPPO Stores and the company’s online sales channels in the Philippines.
