September 2, 2026 — Acer has introduced the Predator Atlas 7, a new Windows gaming handheld with a 7-inch display, Intel Arc graphics, and up to an 80Wh battery. The company also unveiled Project DualPlay Mini, a concept device that combines handheld gaming controls with a built-in keyboard for mobile productivity.
The Predator Atlas 7 is a smaller handheld in Acer’s Predator Atlas lineup. It uses a 7-inch Full HD display and is available with Intel Arc G3-series processor options, with configurations reaching up to the Intel Arc G3 Extreme.
7-inch Full HD display with 120Hz refresh rate
The Predator Atlas 7 features a 7-inch IPS display with a 1920 × 1080 Full HD resolution.
The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 500 nits brightness, and 100% sRGB color coverage.
Intel Arc G3 graphics and up to 24GB memory
The handheld is available with Intel Arc G3-series processors, including the Intel Arc G3 Extreme. Graphics configurations include Intel Arc B370 and Intel Arc B390, depending on the processor configuration.
Acer lists configurations with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD. Storage can also be expanded through a microSD card slot.
The system runs Windows 11 Home.
Dual-fan cooling system
The Predator Atlas 7 uses a dual-fan cooling system designed to manage heat from its processor and graphics hardware.
The cooling setup includes a Predator AeroBlade metal fan alongside a second fan, with Acer’s Vortex Flow tuning used as part of the thermal design.
Up to 80Wh battery
Battery capacity reaches 80Wh, although configurations with a smaller 60Wh battery are also available.
The 60Wh configuration weighs under 700 grams according to available specifications. Actual battery life will depend on the hardware configuration, games, display settings, and power-management settings.
Handheld controls and connectivity
The Atlas 7 includes controls designed for handheld PC gaming, including analog sticks, a D-pad, ABXY buttons, and shoulder controls.
The system also provides connectivity options including two Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Audio is handled through a dual-speaker system, while the device also includes dual microphones with Acer’s PurifiedVoice technology for voice communication.
Project DualPlay Mini is a separate concept
Alongside the Atlas 7, Acer showed Project DualPlay Mini, an experimental device that combines gaming and mobile productivity features.
The concept uses an 8-inch display and a flip-and-swivel mechanism that allows the device to change between a handheld gaming configuration and a mini-laptop-style setup. A built-in backlit keyboard provides an alternative input method for games and productivity applications.
The concept can also connect to an external display, allowing it to function as a more conventional productivity device when used away from a handheld configuration.
Project DualPlay Mini uses Intel hardware and a dual-fan cooling design similar to the Predator Atlas series. However, Acer has not announced it as a retail product. The device remains a concept.

Availability
Acer says the Predator Atlas 7 will be available in North America starting in Q4 2026, while availability in the EMEA region is scheduled for November 2026.
