Acer extends 20-year leadership as the Philippines’ #1 laptop brand in 2026

Acer maintains its dominance in both consumer and gaming segments, building on two decades of sustained market leadership.

MANILA, July 13, 2026 – Acer has once again secured its position as the Philippines’ No. 1 laptop brand, extending its market leadership to 20 consecutive years. Nielsen-GfK data for the first five months of 2026 shows the company holding a 37% share of the consumer laptop market and a 34.5% share of the gaming laptop segment.
This sustained performance builds on a remarkable milestone for Acer. The company has held the title of the Philippines’ No. 1 laptop brand for 20 consecutive years, from 2006 to 2025, according to the IDC Quarterly Personal Computing Device Tracker (Q4 2025). It enters 2026 on the heels of a record-breaking year, having achieved an all-time high 37.3% share of the consumer laptop market in 2025, fueled by strong demand across both its gaming and mainstream laptop portfolios.
