The OPPO x BABYMONSTER Global Fan Meet Up in Indonesia brought together BABYMONSTER and fans while highlighting several camera and content-creation features of the OPPO Reno16 Series 5G.
The event also provided a setting for demonstrating how the Reno16 Series can be used to capture performances, fan reactions, group photos, and other moments around live events. The fan meet up was held at Ciputra Artpreneur in Jakarta on September 19, 2026.
50MP telephoto camera for concert shots
The OPPO Reno16 5G features a 50MP Telephoto Portrait Camera with 3.5x optical zoom.
The camera is designed to provide additional framing options when photographing subjects from a distance. OPPO says its focal length is close to an 85mm portrait perspective, while the phone also includes a 50MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera.
For concerts and other live performances, the telephoto camera can be used to frame individual performers or details on stage without relying solely on wider shots.
StableCam and 4K video recording
The Reno16 Series includes StableCam for video recording, while the Reno16 5G supports 4K video recording on both its rear and front cameras.
The phone also supports 4K Auto Straighten Video, which is designed to help keep footage properly framed while recording.
These features can be used for recording performances as well as videos that include the person behind the camera, such as reactions during a concert or fan event.
Dual-View Video 2.0 records two perspectives
The Dual-View Video 2.0 feature allows users to record the scene in front of them and their own reaction in the same video.
For a concert or fan meet up, this can combine footage of a performance with the fan’s reaction. The feature is also positioned for recording group experiences where both the event and the people attending are part of the video.
Camera Remote View for group photos
The Reno16 Series also supports OPPO Bubble with Camera Remote View, which allows users to preview the phone’s camera frame and remotely trigger photos or videos from a compatible device.
The feature supports remote control from up to 10 meters, with framing adjustments from 0.6x to 3.5x and a timer of up to 10 seconds.
Camera Remote View also works with supported iPhones, according to OPPO, allowing users with different devices to participate in group photos.
AI and creative editing tools
After capturing photos and videos, the Reno16 Series includes several built-in tools for editing and creating social content.
AI Remix Collage supports formats such as Tiny Me, Giant Me, Time Freezer, and Motion Scrapbook. Motion Photo Popout 2.0 can also be used to create compositions from Motion Photos.
The phone’s Pop Cam feature provides camera styles including Digicam, Instant Film, and Light Leak, allowing users to apply different visual treatments directly through the Camera app.
OPPO Reno16 Series availability
The OPPO Reno16 Series 5G is available in the Philippines, according to the press release. The announcement does not provide additional Philippine pricing information for the individual Reno16 models.
