MANILA, PHILIPPINES — vivo has previewed several camera features for its upcoming vivo V80 smartphone ahead of its Philippine launch on October 30, 2026. The features focus on AI-assisted photo editing, creative lighting effects, and portrait photography.
AI Features for Creative Photography
The vivo V80 will introduce Creative Sticker Collage, an AI-powered feature that turns Live Photos into animated compositions. Users can turn people, pets, and everyday moments into stickers and combine them with other Live Photos to create collages.
Another feature, AI Creative Camera, offers one-tap lighting and atmosphere styles. The available effects include Sunlight, Glow, and Top Lighting, giving users different options for adjusting the look of their photos.
CCD Flash Portrait for a Retro Look
The smartphone will also feature CCD Flash Portrait, which combines flash fill-light with CCD-inspired image processing to produce a retro-style appearance.
The feature is designed to keep faces clear and skin tones natural while applying vintage-inspired colors and contrast. It is intended for night portraits, where the flash helps distinguish subjects from their surroundings.
ZEISS Camera System
The vivo V80’s imaging system combines vivo imaging technology with ZEISS optics. Its camera setup includes a 50MP ZEISS OIS Main Camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a group selfie camera.
The combination provides options for different shooting situations, from portraits and distant subjects to wider scenes and group photos.
Philippine Launch on October 30
vivo is scheduled to launch the V80 in the Philippines on October 30, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The launch event will be livestreamed on the vivo Philippines Facebook page.
