MANILA, Philippines, August 12, 2026 — ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has introduced the ROG Gjallar, a premium gaming soundbar built to deliver immersive, cinematic audio, crisp in-game communication, and seamless multi-platform compatibility. Designed to simplify gaming setups, it creates a realistic 3D soundstage through 2.1.2 Dolby Atmos® surround sound, combining left and right full-range speakers, dedicated tweeters, up-firing channels, and a powerful 5G wireless subwoofer.
The Gjallar features an all-in-one audio control hub that puts EQ settings, playback controls, input selection, and RGB lighting adjustments within easy reach. It also integrates built-in Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) microphones, helping provide clear and seamless communication during gaming.
The Gjallar supports flexible multi-device and multi-platform connectivity through USB-C®, HDMI® 2.1 (eARC), optical and AUX inputs, as well as Bluetooth® 5.3. A built-in USB hub on the side of the soundbar also makes it easy to connect peripherals and other devices via USB Type-A. Completing the setup, ASUS Aura RGB lighting delivers up to 16.8 million colors and four preset lighting effects for a more immersive and coordinated gaming environment.
Gamers can personalize their audio experience through the web-based Gear Link PC tool or mobile app, which provides convenient controls for fine-tuning EQ settings, adjusting microphone configurations, customizing lighting, and more.
Immersive 2.1.2 Dolby Atmos surround sound
The ROG Gjallar combines full-range drivers, dedicated tweeters, upward-firing channels, and a wireless subwoofer to create a realistic 3D soundstage for an immersive gaming experience. Its 2.1.2 Dolby Atmos® audio is designed to provide precise positional sound, helping competitive gamers identify the direction of in-game sounds and gain a tactical advantage. The 6.5-inch, 65-watt wireless subwoofer produces deep, powerful bass that adds impact to explosions and other sound effects. With 5GHz wireless connectivity for reliable, low-latency audio and a slim design, the subwoofer can be positioned conveniently across a variety of gaming setups.
All-in-one audio control hub
The multi-function control hub gives gamers convenient access to EQ settings, playback controls, and RGB lighting. Its vibrant LCD display provides an intuitive interface for switching between input sources and selecting EQ profiles tailored for gaming, music, or movies. For clearer in-game communication, the integrated microphones use advanced Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) technology to reduce audio from the speakers and help prevent teammate voices from being affected by game sounds. An AI beamforming algorithm further enhances voice pickup by focusing on the speaker’s voice while minimizing background noise, such as PC fan sounds and system hum, for clearer and more natural communication.
Multi-platform compatibility
The ROG Gjallar offers seamless multi-device integration through USB-C, HDMI 2.1 (eARC), optical and AUX inputs, and Bluetooth 5.3. It can also be paired with a dedicated DAC for high-fidelity audio and easily switched between PC, Mac, mobile devices, and PlayStation®, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch™ consoles. With HDMI 2.1, the soundbar supports up to 4K@120Hz pass-through, while eARC delivers lossless, high-resolution audio with low-latency, synchronized visuals for an immersive gaming experience without sacrificing image quality. The built-in USB hub also features two USB Type-A ports on the right side, providing convenient connections for wireless dongles, external storage, and other peripherals while keeping the setup organized.
Easy adjustments via Gear Link
Available through a web portal or mobile app, Gear Link gives users easy access to a range of customization options, including EQ settings, RGB lighting, microphone adjustments, and more. This allows gamers to fine-tune the ROG Gjallar to suit their preferences and create a more personalized listening experience.
Availability & Pricing
The ASUS ROG Gjallar is set to launch in the Philippines in September 2026, with a suggested retail price (SRP) of PHP 33,490.
