Actress and vivo celebrity ambassador Anne Curtis shared how she uses the vivo V80 for photography and everyday activities during the smartphone’s grand launch at Grand Hyatt Manila on October 30, 2026.
During the event, Curtis discussed her approach to taking photos, saying she prefers natural moments rather than overly planned shots. She shared that she often captures landscapes, city lights, sunsets, and food while traveling and managing her busy schedule.
Anne Curtis talks about the vivo V80's camera features
Curtis highlighted the smartphone’s camera capabilities, particularly its 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera and ZEISS 85mm and 100mm Center-Stage Portrait options.
Of the two portrait focal lengths, she said she preferred the ZEISS 100mm option. According to Curtis, it helps isolate subjects and create a softer background, which can be useful when taking photos in crowded locations.
She also described photography as part of documenting family moments, noting that she moves between being behind and in front of the camera.
Battery and durability for everyday activities
Curtis also discussed the vivo V80’s 7,200mAh BlueVolt battery, saying it supports her use of the phone for taking photos and videos, as well as navigation throughout the day.
The device also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Curtis said these features are practical for outdoor activities, including trips to the beach, and are relevant to her work filming in different locations.
