Globe Prepaid Makes Travel in PH More Rewarding with New Traveler SIM Perks

Globe Prepaid has expanded the benefits of its Traveler SIM for tourists visiting the Philippines, adding new offers through partnerships with GrabCar, KKday, and Kultura.
The new perks cover transportation, travel experiences, and local retail, giving visitors additional benefits alongside the mobile connectivity provided by the Traveler SIM.

Traveler SIM offers mobile connectivity for tourists

The Globe Prepaid Traveler SIM provides tourists with mobile connectivity and access to travel and lifestyle perks. According to Globe, the SIM also provides access to its 5G network, which the company says has been recognized by Ookla.
Tourists can purchase an eSIM through the GlobeOne app before arriving in the Philippines or obtain a physical SIM from airport booths.
Available data allocations include:
  • 20GB
  • 30GB
  • 80GB
  • 120GB
Globe Consumer Mobile Business Head Eric Tanbauco said the Traveler SIM is intended to provide tourists with connectivity while also offering practical benefits during their trip.
GrabCar, KKday, and Kultura perks added
The latest Traveler SIM benefits cover transportation, activities, and local shopping.
Through GrabCar, tourists can get 50% off rides with a minimum fare of ₱300, with the discount capped at ₱150. The offer is valid nationwide and can be used for trips between airports, hotels, attractions, restaurants, and other destinations.
For travelers looking for activities and tours, KKday offers ₱150 off with a minimum spend of ₱1,000. The offer is valid sitewide and covers the platform’s selection of local tours, day trips, island activities, and other experiences.
Meanwhile, Kultura offers ₱300 off with a minimum spend of ₱3,000 at select stores. The retailer carries local crafts, cultural keepsakes, and Filipino-made products.
Perks available with newly purchased Traveler SIMs
According to Globe, the new benefits are available with all newly purchased Traveler SIMs.
The additions expand the Traveler SIM beyond its connectivity features by providing discounts and offers related to transportation, travel activities, and local retail.
Globe said the initiative is intended to give tourists additional ways to explore destinations and access local experiences while staying connected during their visit to the Philippines.
