Smart Home WiFi SIM 99 Offers 2GB Non-Expiring Data for ₱99

Smart Communications has introduced the Smart Home WiFi SIM 99, a prepaid SIM designed for use with compatible Home WiFi routers. The SIM costs ₱99 and includes 2GB of non-expiring data.
The new SIM can be used with open-line Home WiFi routers, as well as compatible Smart and PLDT Home WiFi devices that have an expired or inactive SIM.

Designed for existing Home WiFi routers

The Smart Home WiFi SIM 99 is intended for users who already have a compatible Home WiFi router and need a replacement or new SIM for the device.
This allows compatible routers to continue being used without requiring users to purchase new hardware. The SIM is specifically intended for Home WiFi routers rather than regular smartphone use.
The ₱99 SIM includes 2GB of non-expiring data, providing an initial data allocation that does not have a stated expiration period in the supplied announcement.
Smart also says subscribers can register for its Home WiFi BIG DATA and UNLI promos after activating the SIM, giving them additional data options.

Customers can register the SIM through Smart’s official SIM Registration portal.
Home WiFi data offers can also be managed through the Smart App, according to the company.
5G-ready SIM
The Smart Home WiFi SIM 99 is described as 5G-ready. When used with a compatible 5G Home WiFi router and in an area with Smart 5G coverage, the SIM can access the network.
The announcement does not specify a guaranteed connection speed for the SIM. Actual performance can therefore vary depending on the router, network coverage, location, and other network conditions.
Smart also cited an Ookla recognition for its mobile video experience in the Philippines during the first half of 2026, but this is a separate network performance recognition rather than a specific performance guarantee for the Home WiFi SIM 99.
Smart Home WiFi SIM 99 availability
The Smart Home WiFi SIM 99 costs ₱99 and includes 2GB of non-expiring data.
It is available at Smart Stores, authorized retail outlets and distributors nationwide, and through the Smart Online Store.
The SIM is aimed primarily at users with compatible Home WiFi hardware, including open-line routers and eligible Smart or PLDT Home WiFi devices with expired or inactive SIMs.
