vivo V80 Lite now available nationwide, with 3 reasons to own it

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The vivo V80 Lite is now available for purchase nationwide in the Philippines, following the start of device claims for customers who pre-ordered the smartphone on October 17.
According to vivo, the V80 Lite focuses on three areas that may be relevant to users who rely on their phones throughout the day: battery capacity, battery technology designed for demanding temperatures, and durability for everyday use.

1. 10,000mAh battery for extended use

The vivo V80 Lite comes with a 10,000mAh BlueVolt battery, which vivo says has been tested to last more than a day under specified usage conditions.
The smartphone also supports reverse charging, allowing it to provide power to compatible devices, including other phones and mini fans.
According to vivo, the larger battery is intended to support extended use between charging sessions.
The vivo V80 Lite starts at Php 24,999 in the Philippines.
2. Battery technology designed for demanding temperatures
The V80 Lite uses a second-generation semi-solid electrolyte battery designed to support stable and reliable endurance in demanding conditions.
vivo’s announcement comes as the Philippines prepares for the effects of a strong El Niño event and continued hot weather. The company notes that extreme heat can affect battery performance and long-term battery health.
The battery technology is intended to provide an additional consideration for users who regularly use their phones outdoors for activities such as navigation, messaging, and mobile payments.
However, vivo notes that no battery is immune to the effects of extreme temperatures.
3. Durability for everyday use
Beyond its battery features, the vivo V80 Lite has undergone military-grade durability testing, along with tests involving drops, dust, water, scratches, and wear.
According to vivo, these tests provide a basis for evaluating how the device is designed to withstand common challenges associated with everyday handling and outdoor use.
The company also notes that test results do not mean the smartphone is indestructible and recommends that users follow the manufacturer’s care guidelines.

Customers who have not yet purchased the vivo V80 Lite can visit a vivo physical store or purchase the smartphone through the vivo e-store and vivo Store app.
The device starts at Php 24,999 in the Philippines.
The three main areas highlighted by vivo for the V80 Lite are its 10,000mAh battery, second-generation semi-solid electrolyte battery technology, and tested durability.
