Tier One Entertainment Unveils Partnership with My Hero Academia, Launches BLCK x MHA Collection

Gaming and entertainment label Tier One Entertainment has partnered up with award-winning anime and manga My Hero Academia and announced a line of Blacklist International and MHA crossover merchandise and apparel.

The official tagline for their collaboration, “Everyone can be a hero” sticks to the core ethos of the series, as well as one of the philosophies of Tier One Entertainment, which aims to bring esports and gaming to everyone.

Just as the characters of the show employ the concept of Plus Ultra to go above and beyond and embody the spirit of being a hero, the players of Blacklist International internalize and display the motto “Break The Code,” reminding them that even when the odds are against you, you must break through and go beyond, because that’s what it takes to become a hero, a champion, and unlock the potential that lies within all of us.

“It’s a very special thing when a collaboration comes along that fits perfectly between two brands.” says Tryke Gutierrez, CEO of Tier One Entertainment and Co-founder of Blacklist International. “The values and culture that we promote at Blacklist International fit like a glove with the messaging of My Hero Academia. In the world of esports, we are also the heroes but at times, we can be the villain in someone else’s story. Now we can express that in an exciting collection that brings it all together for the fans and even our haters too.” he added.

The collaboration comes ahead of Blacklist International’s M5 World Championship campaign.

The collection includes a number of pieces, prominently featuring characters from the anime series, with branding featuring Blacklist International’s logo and wordmark. See the full list from the collection below:
