Quick Unboxing by Kang Dupet
The GALAX RTX 2060 EX 1-Click OC comes in standard packaging without all the flare. Although, they included an RGB tagline.
The components, including the VRM, VRAM, and GPU are cooled by the dual heat-pipe inside. GALAX even provided a thermal pad for better cooling.
GALAX was kind enough to provide a DVI-D port for those that still utilize it, along with the standard 1 DisplayPort and 1 HDMI 2.0b.

Overclocking the GALAX GeForce RTX 2060 EX
Overclocking the GALAX RTX 2060 EX 1-Click OC was a bit tricky using their proprietary Xtreme Utility by GALAX that provides their 1-Click OC function. This only bumps the core clocks by 15Mhz.
At 3DMark Synthetic Benchmarks, the GALAX GeForce RTX 2060 EX shows that it can perform close to an Nvidia GeForce 1070Ti.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 EX is great value for money with an SRP of ₱ 23,500. It is probably the first RTX card that offers unprecedented price to performance ratio making it one of the best reasons to upgrade to a Turing architecture. The GALAX RTX 2060 EX performed more than we had hoped for. Exceeding performance under modern AAA titles at 1080p and 1440p. Even at 4K resolution, it was nearly sufficient garnering close to 60FPS.
Cooling wise, the card was decent, keeping within the temperature limits. Improvements could be made with the curvature of the fans in order for temperatures to be slightly lower. Overclocking the RTX 2060 is pretty quick but I would not really recommend the 1-click OC’s mere 15Mhz. It wouldn’t hurt for others to try using different software to crank up that power limits of this card as it is completely capable.
Overall, GALAX has definitely won the market with its price to performance ratio on this card. They have ticked all the right boxes making this the best choice for 1440p gaming without breaking the piggy bank.
