Yesterday, we witnessed the local launch of the Galaxy Tab S4, Galaxy Tab A and the Galaxy Watch. While the Galaxy Tab S4 is now locally available, the Galaxy Watch will be available on September 14, 2018.
The Galaxy Tab S4 is built for both performance and multi-tasking in a sleek design of a 7.1mm thick body. Being the direct rival to the iPad Pro 10.5, we are yet to see the full potential of the Galaxy Tab S4. Nevertheless, the Super Amoled screen has a pixel density of 287ppi thanks to its 2560×1600 resolution.
It’s also because of that optional keyboard case which gives you 2-in-1 functionality. The tablet comes with Samsung DeX built in so you can use it in a Windows-style desktop way. Of course with the option of extending Samsung DeX to an external monitor with a compatible HDMI to USB-C multi-port adapter.
From what we’ve gathered during the launch, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 comes with a Qualcomm MSM8998 SoC together with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 400GB via the microSD slot. It now has an improved audio system powered by Dolby Atmos for an immersive experience.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 will come in Ebony Black and Fog Grey colors, for an SRP of PHP 44,990. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, meanwhile, will exclusively come in Fog Grey and will retail for PHP 23,990.
