Selfie lovers are in for a treat as OPPO yet again redefines selfies with their latest flagship, the OPPO F5. Aside from having a good front camera setup, it has specially-designed software for selfies which enables the device to take better, accurate photos and can even distinguish if the user is a male or female. We tried taking our selfies with it and the results were astonishing, the beautify mode doesn’t make you look like a clown since the A.I.-assisted selfies balances the right settings for each individual. Take a look at the sample shots below:
Aside from the camera, it also has a FHD+ 18:9 screen that maximizes the whole display area and coated entirely with metal aluminum chassis for premium feel. The only downside tho is it doesn’t come in Android Oreo from out of the box and its default keyboard is still annoying because it still looks like a bloatware with notifications for customization, additional downloads etc. But hey, these can be changed by just an update and I do hope OPPO will consider getting the Google keyboard instead.
Overall, the OPPO F5 is the perfect phone (almost) for the mid-range market, I haven’t seen no major flaws (so far) and it looks like it will be making its way as a real threat against Huawei Nova2i. SRP is Php 15,990 and it will be available tomorrow, November 4th, 2017 at all authorized re-sellers nationwide.
