A Carless Getaway in Tagaytay
Some of us think that going on a vacation without a private vehicle is very tedious and not practical, but that can’t stop us from going on a tour around Tagaytay. I can share you my experience about our 2-day trip and help you guys out.
First, we checked online for possible hotels and since its our first time we also read other blogs for their recommendations. We ended up in Viewpoint Inn in Brgy. Neogan, its a hotel overlooking Taal Lake along National Highway about P1,500 per night and its not that far from all tourist spots including picnic grove, bag of beans, sky ranch, and mahogany market
For commuters you can go to LRT1 or MRT heading to EDSA Taft Station then just behind the Sogo hotel and McDonalds their are buses going to Nasugbu Batangas, quite a rare gem though since all buses going to Nasugbu are transferred to Uniwilde Coastal mall. Then you can tell to the conductor to drop you off in Viewpoint Inn in Brgy. Neogan
From the hotel you can just ride jeepneys and buses to the popular tourist spots in Tagytay. To go to skyranch ride a jeepney going to Alfonso, if you’d like to go to the picnic grove, ride the jeepneys/buses going to Olivarez then get a tricycle going to Picnic grove. Going back to viewpoint inn is easy just ride the buses/jeepneys that are going to Nasugbu Batangas.
